Playing about with spatula shapes... Just got back from an amazing weekend at the green scythe fair in Somerset. Didn't take many photos, so you'll have to make do with these few. Nearly forgot to put one up for today, but here is a sort of cooker/server with a shortish handle but a nice, big bowl. There's definitely something pleasing about the oval shape of the bowl... I've been doing a lot of spoon carving lately and am going to showcase what I've made on here over the next few days. Had a nice day out in the garden today with 2 of my Christmas presents: the Sheffield Axe from @woodtools and the 'Scout' @kelly_kettle . Some work in progress spoons and a new spoon rack I've put up in my workshop. Final day at @crimsonguitars was all about assembly and setup. Day 4 at @crimsonguitars was great. Did lots of work on the body (routing and sanding), glued the neck in and made a scratch plate from ebony to match the fretboard and headstock veneer.
